You're having a great experience at Michigan — share it with prospective UM students! Our office has both volunteer and paid positions. Watch for job postings at the beginning of each term, visit us in the SAB, or contact us to learn more. We also recruit during Festifall — so look for the Admissions table.

  • Work-study students help with clerical tasks, data entry, filing, and stock keeping.
  • Tour guides escort high school students and their families throughout campus every week day and many Saturdays.
  • Ambassadors call prospective students and help out with special recruiting events.
  • Phone assistants learn to answer every question imaginable about the University and help to respond to hundreds of emails, too.
  • Campus Day Leaders are selected each fall to run programs for admitted students and their parents in the winter.
