Campus Day 2008

Program Highlights

Campus Day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.

MORNING

Registration

Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. and continue through 8:20 a.m. You will receive your information packet, and a list of classes to visit in the afternoon (optional). You can also talk informally with students and staff.

Student Life at Michigan

What's the first year like at Michigan? What is there to do outside the classroom? These questions and more—your own—will be the subject of this panel. Interact with current students and learn what it's really like to be a U-M student.

Walking Tour of Central Campus

The best way to get a feel for the University of Michigan is to experience it first hand on a student-led tour, followed by lunch in one of our residence halls.

Residence Hall Visit

Discover why Michigan is “an Amaizin’ place to live!” Tour a residence hall, see student rooms, and have lunch with current students in the cafeteria.

Division of Kinesiology

Explore degree options and opportunities for students in Kinesiology.  Afterwards, there will be an informal Q&A and reception with faculty from the four programs of study, advisors, and current students.

School of Music, Theatre & Dance

A customized schedule will be arranged in advance for each student. Activities might include a meeting with a School of Music, Theatre & Dance admissions staff member and visits to classes and rehearsals. You may also choose to contact and schedule a meeting with a faculty member, if available.

A list of selected classes will be available if you would like a classroom experience. Classes will only be offered until April 7 due to study days and exams.
