academic advising
Each school and college provides initial and continuing academic advising services to help you plan your course selections, meet the basic graduation requirements, and progress toward your career goals. Academic advisors include professional staff members who work as general advisors, as well as faculty who serve as concentration advisors. Each new freshman and transfer student meets personally with an academic advisor during New Student Orientation.
